Leeds Professional Resources is working with a client that is looking for Finance Manager for their growing office. This role ensures smooth payroll operations, supports HR activities, and helps ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to support the company’s growth objectives.
- Utilize advanced spreadsheet skills to create financial models and presentations for potential investors and capital raising efforts.
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure all financial records are accurate and up to date.
- Provide insights and analysis on financial performance, trends, and variances to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and reporting requirements.
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling and data analysis.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively with various stakeholders.
- Real Estate or Property Management is preferred
- CAM understanding is preferred
